When it came to computers, I preferred the desktop style. Still do. I've owned a few Dells, a Micron, and a few home-built ones. I've gone through them at the rate of every 5-6 years.

I held off buying a laptop for many years. They always seemed to miss at least one feature I did not want to do without. Thing is, if any did have them all they were way too expensive.

The first laptop was a Dell Latitude with XP in the mid 2000s. Since then, a Samsung, currently an Asus. Pretty happy with them all overall.

I nearly forgot. I had a Timex/Sinclair 1000 for a while, which makes it the actual first of the bunch. I wonder who remembers that little groundbreaker. It used a tape drive and was hooked up to a TV. That had to be early to mid-eighties before the Tandy. I remember writing a program that tested hearing with the tones it could produce. Never wrote anything after that. LOL.
