Cool.
I had a Timex/Sinclair 1000 for a while, which makes it the actual first of the bunch

You can still buy those on eBay. I would probably have to buy a vintage TV to see the output.
The Timex Sinclair 1000 was the first computer produced by Timex Sinclair, a joint venture between Timex Corporation and Sinclair Research. It was launched in July 1982, with a US sales price of US$99.95, making it the cheapest home computer at the time; it was advertised as "the first computer under $100".

$100 was a heck of a deal compared to thousands for HP personal computers.

In 1975 I learned to program on an HP 9830A that our high school bought to take attendance by reading IBM punch cards for each student for each class.

I used to get desktops but it was too much a pain to take my stock market data to update on vacations and sync so when laptops got powerful enough, I switched. I like too how I can now use the laptop display as a third monitor which I usually have web cams of SF Bay views running or one of these finviz pages to show the markets
