This is my overall thinking as well - we had a Zweig breadth thrust, which has a rather good record - plus another 1 or 2 setups in addition to it, which seemed to be grounded in decent stats. We are still in a bull market - as confirmed by a new SPX ATH just a few days ago. Even the fact that this is a year ending with “5” seems to be, on average, positive. And, we are heading towards the most bullish 3 month stretch - which begins in less than 2 months, at the end of October.

None of which means we may not have a difficult period right ahead of us. Or, maybe not - if we’re lucky.
