Selected economic news this morning: August jobs report shows US labor market continues dramatic summer slowdown finance.yahoo.com Are we in recession now, or worse? Likely so, in my opinion. If so, counter cyclicals will be the stocks to hold, generally speaking. That puts metals stocks at the top of the list.
