How will these chip tariffs work when products incorporating them are shipped back into the US?

I've always wondered about this and certainly wouldn't be surprised if some sort of added cost (due to what's inside) is incorporated into whatever tariffs which may be applicable. My premise here is ...

If they can, they will. No clear rules as to anything these days.
