Pigboy, It remains to be seen how successful the Arcxel switch will be in the marketplace. My opinion is that they do not have the level of technology in their current switch that Ancor and Brocade have. I'm sure that they are working hard to improve their switch, so we probably shouldn't judge them based on this product alone. They may also have a raw price advantage, simply because they have less ports. I'll defer the loop questions to KJ. I haven't had a chance to fully research the Public/Private loop debate. Arcxel's small size and limited sales are the reasons I'm so curious what Vixel paid for them. It would give us a much better handle on what the technology is worth all by itself. Craig
