Following the "coalition of the willing" meeting, Berlin has listed broader conditions for military engagement in Ukraine, including learning more about the nature of the US engagement.

What you need to know
  • France's Emmanuel Macron hosts "coalition of the willing" in a hybrid meeting, with Ukrainian president attending in person
  • US President Trump holds a call with the meeting heads
  • Macron says 26 countries have pledged to take part in Kyiv's post-war security
  • Macron did not name the 26 countries, nor did he specify the number of troops that would be deployed.
  • Berlin has held off on the decision to take part in a postwar Ukraine force

Same 'coalition of the willing' of mostly a subset of the 32-member NATO alliance. Primary role as stated in the plan is to re-arm Ukraine for another go at a war with Russia like the previous three ceasefires that they reneged on. One would think the term 'coalition of the willing' would've been discredited after NATO waged wars in Iraq, Libya, and Syria under false pretexts. Each of the previous wars had anywhere from 40 to 60 countries waging war against a single country..
