I like having the markets closed for a good part of the 24-hour day so we get a break from the news cycle and market addicts can do something else with our lives. Is that a good reason? Maybe not but I like having bars close rather than open 24 hrs. a day also. The point was I don't use crypto for any of my daily life. It could be a speculative investment similar to my small silver position, and it sure would have done better! Perhaps the banks and brokerages I use will use some form of crypto to transfer funds directly or with less delay than we have now that takes overnight and not on weekends. I wonder what AMEX charges the grocers to cover the 6% reward? With a family like yours, you take good advantage of it.
