That magic year (1973) for Davey in Atlanta always made wonder about the ball park.....he did hit 136 homers in his career but nearly a third of them (43) were in that year.....He did have a couple very good bat numbers for that great Baltimore team in 70 and 71.....hit .280 or so and drove in some runs....Chances are a prime Davey could have played second base for the majority of the league.
