I assume that you wrote calls against only a portion of your position. Otherwise, I would suggest that your strategy will eventually fail one of these quarters when the stock blows out on the upside. Which quarter, who knows, but why risk it for a point or two on the entire position?

If you think you got this thing nailed why wouldn't you buy puts and get the potential to make a little more money on a crash similar to yesterday?

I've opened myself up, so let me have it.
