Brumar,
Trump fails to overturn E. Jean Carroll's $83.3 million verdict
Can't be. I've been told time and time again by the resident MAGA lEgAl eXpErT that Trump is above the law.

And he's above the law because of all the "lawfare" that the poor Orange victim had to suffer through while he was out of office.

Here's my favorite part of the article:
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan rejected Trump's argument that the January 2024 verdict should be overturned because he deserved presidential immunity from Carroll's lawsuit.
Golly, I thought "presidential immunity" only applied to "official acts." There is no "official act" imaginable under which Trump should be allowed to defame E. Jean Carroll.

It's almost as if the Supreme Court should have seen this coming, that Trump would severely abuse the "official act" clause. Yet they simply don't care.

Like Congress, the Supreme Court isn't doing its fukkin' job.
