To illustrate my point, in Q2 2025.....

NBIS's sales were $105m.

NBIS's guidance for annual run rate at the end of 2025 is $1billion, which means they expect to do about $250m in Q4 2025.

For full year 2025, NBIS expects Cap Ex to be $2 billion (and this number is going to go up according to the press release issued after the close).

So in 2025 they'll spend 3x or more their end of year annual sales "run rate" (or.....probably 4x or 5x their actual 2025 sales), and that multiple is before this afternoon's press release. That's not spending 3x annual profits, they're spending 3x - 5x their annual SALES.

To my knowledge, there are no profits. Not yet. There is only plans to increase spending.

Ok, perhaps in a few years NBIS will make some profits. Then again, perhaps not.

They are a customer to the guys selling the pick axes in the AI gold rush, they are not themselves selling the pick axe. Unless you have some reason to believe that NBIS's AI data center is superior to any other AI data center, I don't know why one would invest in them.

But lots of people do!
