POG turned negative with the jobs report, as silver dropped deeper into the red. I believe this action is a consequence of increased expectations for a Fed rate cut next week, with much improved chances for a half percent cut instead of a quarter percent.

However, rate cuts without low inflation figures are relatively meaningless. Watch for inflation news later this week.The Producer Price Index is due tomorrow, and the Consumer Price Index on Thursday.
