I understand the point you are making. I just want to be clear in your thinking. You are saying that only companies who have been through a couple of business cycles and have a long track record with the same management are worthwhile investments? Or are you saying that it's ok to invest in start-up companies but it's far more risky?

I realize that it's risky to invest in companies that are relatively new. Some are worth the risk.

CIEN is one of those companies...
