R.I.P. Charlie Kirk

I was just a kid when it happened, but I saw how 9/11 changed everything about America.

22 years ago, Jihadists killed nearly 3,000 people in the deadliest terror attack on American soil in our history.

We remember the heroism of the first responders, how our country came together in the aftermath, and the lives lost and families ripped apart. But we also remember what we lost as a country in the years that followed.

9/11 became the first in a long line of emergencies that have been used to erode more and more of our God given freedoms. Terror emergencies, medical emergencies, gun violence emergencies, climate emergencies, etc.

The best way to honor those who died and the soldiers who lost their lives in the wars that followed, is to never forget the America we had before that terrible day, and to fight to get it back.
