Unless you have showed the same outrage over comments from all people regarding gun violence, people could make a case that your commentary alone is partisan and lacks perspective.

Furthermore, anyone including me, can find a crackpot recording outrageous and highly charged videos from their basement on any topic you want. Youtube is like OnlyFans for political and investment content.

Like OnlyFans, Youtube has content for any kind of kink a person may have. Like OnlyFans, the more time you spend watching these videos, the more you crave even more extreme content. It's how the dopamine reward center in the brain works. That's what's helped Meta and Mark Zuckerberg mint money off of making people angry over things day and night.

Anger drives eyeballs, which drives cash. We can be better than that. We can stop letting silos and echo chambers melt away our ability to think critically by limiting our time in them or escaping them completely.

While some may not be happy with the back and forth on this board today, it is proof that people of differing opinions can engage with each other in a civilized, respectful manner regardless of their strongly held opinions. It is through little wins like this we can rediscover our common humanity.
