Took a closer look at the rifle.

pure bullshit set up.

variable scope set in such a position that it is doubtful that anybody even looked through the scope to see if it was set for optimal eye relief. This scope should have been 3 inches forward, the rings moved to be near center on the turrets. This looks like a kid put it on and never looked to see if the position would allows you to even shoot with it. If this rifle made the shot, it was not on the roof.
