I wasn't going to reply because I know your well aware of this, Del.
Zen can't sell filters in Canada without approval, and Health Canada admitted there were costly flaws in their system which hurt companies and shareholders by requiring PMRA for Class I medical devices. We've paid the price for that, but hopefully, it will be resolved soon.
But even knowing this you continue to blame GF for no sales, and slander him by saying he was totally useless as CEO. It doesn't take a genius to see how untrue that statement is.
Sure, he made predictions that people took as promises (including me) that didn't come true. But could it be that he genuinely believed those things would happen? When he told us PMRA wouldn't be necessary I assume that was because it wasn't necessary for masks. That seems like a reasonable assumption he made, right? Then they informed us otherwise. How's that for a kick in the balls?
But after all this time, GF (and many others here) was right—HC admitted to a system failure and is taking corrective action to remove PMRA from Class I. Unfreaken believable..
So... do you truly believe no sales has been GF's fault? We could have been selling filters for a long while now if not for the PMRA debacle. So I say no, not his fault. And I'm sticking up for GF because there's proof right in front of our faces. I've never met him, I've never talked to him. I have no reason to do this other than what I see you say is an injustice. That's it. And I'm surely not sticking up for him because of a great sp. Again not his fault.
I do think you could justifiably direct your wrath toward the bureaucracies and the incompetent system. Yet, I suspect you will keep pushing the idea that everything is GF's fault, and continue to scold all Lollipops for seeing things differently. That's your prerogative.. but man... I can't say this strongly enough, you need to seriously reconsider your perspective based on facts.
Here's something else to think about. If not for PMRA GF may have been replaced a long time ago. And with approvals possibly in hand, maybe even doing business in the US by now. Just saying.
I'm going to nip this in the bud because I know what your response would be.
I also think overseas markets might be waiting to see how this plays out before moving forward, much like in Canada, and possibly the US. I ask you, do you think anyone outside Canada would want to sell a product that their own country denied market entry? Probably not.. So they wait... and we wait... and wait... and wait...and wait... Because of who? The bureaucracies, that's who.
Imho, you need to stop focusing so much on the share price and look at what’s really happening. Or happened at the company.
I'll admit, I am a bit nervous about so much change so fast, but with no risk, there's little reward.
Warren Buffett once said that long-term investors focus too much on share price and there's not enough focus on the company itself. Watching the share price isn't investing—wanting a piece of a company and paying attention to it is. That stuck with me, so from my perspective I'm pretty confident the share price will sort itself out. That's not investment advice, it's jmho..
Nothing but best wishes to all of us long suffering shareholders.
