just two issues of many I can highlight:

1. a decreasing magnetic field intensity allows increasing cosmic gamma ray flux. It is well known that increasing gamma ray flux negatively impacts humans' cognition, and ability to deal with problems rationally and cope.

2. a decreasing magnetic field results in much higher impact of solar "storms" that can knock out electronics,
and electrical grid. The Carrington event actually burned wires off telegraph poles and induction caused fires in telegraph offices. A solar storm intense inough to cause induction in electrical wiring in residential homes would result in urban fire storms.
