Inca makes a very good point which we should appreciate, especially the roady-trippers.

We are neither friends, nor enemies, of a stock.
We are investors.
That is the rational and objective approach.

Rationality and objectiveness allows us to laugh at the sewage sprayers who try to 'shoot the messenger' but never comment on the facts coming out of the company, or the profound lack of them.
