If, by "people", you mean Trump, yeah. Elon Musk's companies, SpaceX and Tesla, have received over $38 billion in government subsidies, contracts, and tax credits since 2003. When he and Trump got into a snit with each other, you saw how quickly he shut up when Trump threatened to stop the billions. As a money guy, he had no choice. The most profitable idea he's had was to have Big Balls get him a copy of the Epstein files, which, in turn, shut Trump up. We haven't heard the end of that cat-fight yet. It will be amusing.
