Some years back Foxconn automated their assembly line, they laid of millions of undesirable monotomids, tedious, long 12-hour shifts 6 days a week, poor paying jobs. Even that idiot Trump appointed head of Commerce Howard Lutnick mentioned it after his Faux Pas claim that millions of Americans would be screwing tiny little screws for jobs when manufacturing came back to the US.
