NATO was created by US and it is effective while they stay under US nuclear umbrella.
NATO was not created for conventional war in Europe.
If Trump effectively pulls US out of NATO, this union does not make any sense.
The whole system of collective security in the world that hold peace for 80 years would be destroyed.
Either Europe has to create new NATO without US, or every country has to get its own nukes.
Welcome to Brave new world.
