LOL . FWIW I recall that one of the reasons that made me so bullish on the time warner discovery merger was the Malone agreed to take a haircut and contribute his super voting shares which were selling at around $30 to the merger at around $22 or so. Most of what I own is in a taxable account . I suspect that the merger will offer choice of cash or stock with limits on how much cash.

After another weekend of watching youtube investment programming I decided to throw my lot in with the energy investors and started buying some speculative canadian names. these guys are convinced they are gonna hit some home runs in the energy space so we will see. The thesis in a nutshell is that the industry underinvested for years in conventional energy and spent lots of money on losing projects in alternative energy, Meanwhile energy demand is increasing. There is a disconnect between the pessimism of investor and the optimism of company ceo-s. I can certainly see that on the mainstream financial media no one is talking about conventional energy stocks except for natural gas.
