Anyone who says marriage is hard is full of crap. You should not get married unless you have:

-Mutual respect and affection and encouragement to grow.
-Mutual gratitude, help, and appreciation for even the smallest things, every day.

That's all it takes for a successful marriage (well, that and the whole not cheating thing).

Finally, it is not advisable to be married when the educational attainment of the two parties is greater than 3-years apart. However, exceptions can be made for likely attainment versus actual attainment.
