CKG , Metates project had been around for ages before Chesapeake as huge and problematic. Very refractory ore. After his big success with Francisco Randy took on Metates to groom it for production in a higher gold price world and 20 years later he and CKG are still trying to find an economic solution to mining that ore.

They are currently pursuing a new proprietary process. There was a recent problem on some land tenure, not sure what happened with that. Then of course there are all the usual concerns of getting a mine permitted etc. and any Mexican specific issues.

It has done well of late and Randy is a bright dedicated CEO. But it has been a running bet for 20 years .
