maybe they could make a ton of inroads with Toyota. Rented one over the weekend and by far it was the absolute worst user interface I have encountered. Not only trying to get registered for apple car play, but the entire startup each time having to have some app on my phone to "approve" toyota to connect.

Made me sign up a user account with the full user name, email, password crap just to get it to allow me to connect with airplay. then had to reverify each and every time I started the car. I had to start it, wait for 30-45 seconds while the user interface rebooted, then wait for the app to come up, allow the interaction, then and only then could it connect to airplay. But can't do it while driving.

then when driving the stupid car kept yanking the wheel when I had a turn signal on and tried to cross a dotted line to the offramp it was telling me to take.

toyota needs to join the 21st century. no idea what they are thinking, but it is NOT acceptable from a 2025 car.
