Ed, you got me. I was warned to buy puts from my guru and...he was right, I was wrong. Don't get me wrong guys, i'm not making every move correctly. I just looked at the technicals and saw selling. As it turns out Volpe has had sellers for the last two days solid. As far as writing the calls, I never write against my whole position. That's way too much of a gamble. But 25-50% is an appropriate amount. Most of my clients I had at 30% hedged. Now that's not total protection but it is a nice dividend.
