Many vaccines may have done much less to decrease mortality and disease than credited. The US is holding hearings on the scientific evidence for this presently. It has been shown that other factors like improving sanitation and health care, better nutrition etc. are the real reasons, not vaccines.

This is shown in charts of deaths by certain illnesses like Diptheria, Hep B and measles. All show vast reductions over time, but very little change since the vaccine was introduced. They are trying to give vaccines credit for massive changes in deathrate and disease, when deathrates had already declined by massive amounts before the vaccine was introduced.

In some cases, the introduction of the vaccine led to an increase of illness and deaths.

This is revealed in discussion starting at 28 minute mark for Diphtheria and measles.
