When I first started checking my credit score almost 20-years ago, I found out it was being dinged because I was paying my bills too fast.

We use our credit cards for all of our purchases, and then I go online every morning and pay them off. All our other bills are paid within a day or two of receiving them.

The FICO formula is behind some opaque curtain, and they have some quirks in their system that don't add up.
