The lawsuit won't likely get far. You'll hear from the defendant how the 4th Amendment stops the minute you leave your property, yada yada. The founders would have written it differently if all those optics had occurred to them. But even then, there were spies and tails with a specific suspect in mind. But the panopticon concept was more or less contemporaneous with the Bill of Rights, probably was unheard of in this hemisphere, and was about prisons.

My concern would be more about Ring doorbells and other "smart" devices found all over a typical house. If the compartmentalization breaks down, we're done for.
