Blackrock Silver continues its rally into a new 2.5 year high today. Overheated? Yes, in so far are "traditional" stock investments are concerned. But, speculative mining issues nearing being bought out?

I can't say that is what's behind this rally, but this is a long-term holding for me. I'm up about 300 percent over the last 14 months after adding substantially to my position. BTW, I also chose to capture some of this gain by selling 25 percent a few days ago.

Management claims they want to sell the Tonopah, NV project, spin off their other Nevada property (gold, silver) and focus on it as eventual developers.

Note my bias. Blackrock is my largest single holding in the mining sector.
