Microsoft Sees the 'Lite' With IE zdnet.com

Very brief review.

Internet Explorer 4.0 for Windows 3.1 is the "lite" version of Microsoft Corp.'s Web browser--it has fewer features, less capability and less stability. In fact, PC Week Labs' tests showed little reason for users of Windows 3.1 or Windows NT 3.5 to switch from IE 3.0 or from 16-bit versions of Netscape Communications Corp.'s browsers.

Well, them win3.1 guys are all supposed to upgrade to NT anyway:-). (or :-( if you're a sysadmin faced with that somewhat daunting task)

Cheers, Dan.
