My kids share my politics to the tee, and if anything see me as a moderate-lol. In fact my entire clan share my politics, more or less.
I have two daughters, one is a scientist and one is a lawyer that went to Berkeley.
They were both raised in liberal political Democratic households, where their mothers worked in politics as chief of staff of one legislator, and one as chairwoman of the Women's Commission, and lawyer..
And one sister is also a chief of staff for a legislator, and one step dad was Democratic speaker of the House in my state.
Our households were meeting places for Democratic politicians across my state.
And I helped four governors be elected and countless legislators and ran for the State House myself.
That said, none of my clan considers my politics as radical. We are pretty much all on the same page and know the academic reality of politics and government.
There are NO conservatives anywhere in our clan. If there was they would never survive :>)!
I don't think my politics are radical at all, and am ready to defend any political position I take.
In fact my politics are pretty much text book as taught in most universities, one of which I have a masters degree in government from.

Considering both of you believe in democracy, value human life, care about the world, lean the same way, are passionate about what you believe in and are radical to the point that I am sure your kids roll their eyes and work at keeping both of you calm. I think you should stand side by side and throw rocks at the true bad guys and not focus on who's socks are the most comfortable and environment friendly.
