But will gold and miners continue to run? Is this the start of something or the end? My impression is that miners get dragged down with everything else when there is a recession.... but does that happen every time.

I went 30% cash back last November - then I made some bucks and started buying on what I saw - pretty much up 100% since last November and that 30% cash was invested in a few stocks - might be less than 10% cash right now..
I followed the dumb money? not sure about that, I certainly have had a decent run, more or less said "eph it, held my nose and waded in to the septic stock pond" certainly has made a difference in my finances.
