Our Gauzy Automotive team had a productive week at IAA MOBILITY 2025, engaging with OEMs and partners. Through these conversations and exploring the exhibitions, we observed some key trends shaping the industry:

- Smart glazing is entering the mainstream with dynamic sunroofs featured across the exhibition, signaling a rising demand.
- Electrification is accelerating. With new EV announcements, technologies like smart glazing that reduce energy consumption are in sharp focus.
- Black glazing is gaining traction. Darkened windows signaled heightened interest in advanced design and privacy features, an area Gauzy is advancing with soon-to-launch black product lines.
- HUDs are becoming standard equipment. The need for a solution that enhances contrast in bright sunlight is growing. A challenge that SPD is uniquely equipped to solve.
- Other dimming solutions were on display in sunroofs and visors, underscoring that dynamic glazing is becoming an expected feature in cabins.
