The average salary for a first-time H1B visa holder in 2025 is typically between $90,000 and $115,000, depending on occupation and experience level, with entry-level tech roles averaging around $90,000-$115,000 and the overall median for new H1B holders near $115,000.

Charging companies $100k for an H1B visa doubles the salary of the new employee, and makes 90% of them unhireable.

This is a ridiculous plan. I would think H1B holders would be at the top of the list for non-family US immigration. What's a better immigrant than a person with a high level high paying US job? Not many.
