Doug, I'll let Ian answer that but from what I know NN thought that UB' salesman would walk into their previous customers' offices and offer them their LAN and NN's WAN switches and that the customer would respond accordingly. What actually happened was that 75% of those UB customers had previously bought Csco LAN switches ( through UB ) and they were not about, all of a sudden, go to a new, relatively unknown to them ( NN ), and buy their product; remarkably NN is still not widely known in the US. I think the US is still affected by a certain degree of provincialism were they ( many, not all ) think that technology savvy stops at US borders. Perhaps they should read today's editorial and article in the Wall Street Jour in regards to US high school math and science students placing dead last ( just above Cyprus and South Africa ). There is life in Canada folks in spite of everything you hear ! GG; ( if only they would lower their taxes a little...., but we'll leave that for later ). TA
