One wonders what there is left to recognize in "Palestine". Gaza is demolished, ruined and flattened. The West Bank, is fragmented by armed Jewish "Settlers", surrounded by high walls with no-go zones for the local Palestinians.

Now lately many countries have come forward to recognize a Palestinian State? If they were serious about a Palestinian State, it should have been done decades ago, now it's far too late as Israel continues its expanded occupation in the West Bank and the genocide in Gaza. I'm sure these countries must realize this. The proclamation of recognition is empty and unenforceable. It seems to me that train has left the station, long ago, as the world stood silent and observed the fragmentation of any chance of a real Palestinian State.

But it's good P.R., as many or most people at home would agree to a Palestinian State, even though it was never in the cards.
