That's false. There was no "crash".

What looked like a piece of steal that had fallen off a truck had fallen into the middle of the road. The driver thought it was a "piece of paper". It was in the middle of the lane and the car drove over it, which did in fact break a small piece of plastic off the bottom the of the car the driver referred to as "cosmetic".

The two guys after wringing their hands about the new Tesla having hit the object that was in the middle of the lane, got back in the car and left after ten or so minutes of hand-wringing and a cop showing up tried to retrieve the object but couldn't find it.

I guess the anti-Tesla people think the Tesla should slam on the breaks for every thing it judges to be a piece of paper in the road?
