Here's a local CBS news report on how Trump's H-1B visa chaos is going to affect the tech startup scene: Fast-forward to 1:44. This VC guy gets it ... "Say a 5-person, 10-person company. You often have $2-4M in your bank account. And now you are looking at hiring 2 or 3 foreign-born workers. *And all of a sudden, your runway can shorten by three months ...*" Most people don't get this concept. They, like Joachim, think startups start with an insane amount of cash like Tesla did, and all they have to do is simply hire rEaL aMeRiCaNs for an extra $50K/year or something. It doesn't work that way, but these know-it-alls think that THEY know more and care more than the employers who actually have to pay the bills, come up with a plan for profitability, and drive the engine of innovation forward. It's these uneducated folks that Wharton alum Trump loves ... Tenchusatsu
