In that moment, you can see a blue lazer reflect off the phone screen then it moves to Charlie's neck and then up, then Charlie goes down. The kid with the Mauser made a diversion shot to keep anyone from hearing the iPhone gun. It was timed perfectly. Then it would merely sound like an echo. That's why you have snipers saying it sounded like it came from inside. I never believed that that kid shot Charlie, I still don't believe he even fired. The guy that gets caught on film, in the stairwell, well, he doesn't look anything like the kid from a trained eye. The kid only brought the gun and delivered it. The kid would not likely have the psychology to even do the diversion shot. They wouldn't have trusted him. He wasn't even smart enough to know he was a patsy. I know what that very same gum can do. Learned how to hunt at the family's ranch with one nearly just like it. It's a German Mauser, a world war 2 rifle, with a replacement synthetic stock and the flash suppressor removed. That one was chambered in 30.6 ours was chambered in .270. While ours was just a bit lighter of a round, the damage was the same. I killed a many white tail with it. However, a 9mm with a low charge, at 15 feet, in the ear would leave no noticeable entry wound and would leave a opening about that size coming out, I would imagine.
