SIMO trading at an all time high share price in pre-market.

We may wind up being happy the MXL deal collapsed.

It sure seems ahead of itself, but there's nothing fundamental that I can think of that's going to cause problems for SIMO for perhaps a year. SIMO has lots of new product launches in H2 2025, and the PC segment has a refresh due to Windows 10 support ending. SIMO's auto design wins are supposed to pick up about now, and Mon Titan is supposed to begin mass production now as well. SIMO's commentary on all these segments is 2026 will be stronger than 2025 (which for SIMO had a lousy H1, so having full year 2026 beat full year 2025 is pretty easy).

The only thing wrong with SIMO the stock now is valuation metrics. Fortunately, for tech stock investors often don't care about valuation metrics.

Micron's report after the close today should signal whether the memory stocks (MU, SNDK, WDC, SIMO) will continue on their recent upward tear.....or not!
