Against the backdrop of Russia’s colossal daily manpower losses, and the fact that Ukrainians have managed to hold the entire front line in such a way that drones have completely thwarted not only operational and strategic, but also tactical breakthroughs, Russian Z-propagandists have entered a state of panic, no longer seeing hope for victory in the war—even in the long-term perspective.

The well-known Russian military propaganda channel “Veteran’s Notes” writes that victory over Ukraine would require the mobilization of 2 million people; otherwise, there is no chance:

Every autumn since 2022, preparations have traditionally been made for the continuation of partial mobilization. This autumn has been no exception.

“However, it should be noted that this time, unlike the last two years, there are already many signs that a new stage of partial mobilization may indeed begin.”

“Regardless of whether mobilization begins or not, we will not win the war without at least a two-million-strong army, no matter how many missiles and drones we produce; in the end, it is infantry forces that physically capture cities and territories. Ukraine is an enormous country, and liberating it with the existing forces (as Putin claims, currently 700,000 Russian soldiers are on Ukrainian territory) is practically impossible.”

The main secret behind all of this success lies in the Ukrainian army’s adaptation at a practical level to modern challenges and its refinement of drone use, which is now setting an unprecedented example of global success.

According to Robert Brovdi, “Madyar,” the commander of Ukraine’s “Unmanned Forces,” the scale and sophistication of drone usage continues to improve. The ultimate goal is to build a “wall of drones” along the front, meaning that on average 3–4 FPV kamikaze drones would be designated to destroy every single Russian combat vehicle or soldier—turning the eastern and southern battlefields into an impenetrable fortress. In parallel, intensive work is underway to perfect “drone swarm” technology, which will allow the defenders to launch dozens of kamikaze drones in autonomous mode, neutralizing potential threats in synchronized waves.
