I only watched the video posted. The passenger reacted to what he saw. He was clearly concerned. The driver could have intervened. He was inattentive. Either the FSD mis-characterized the obstacle or it mis-measured the height of the obstacle, which would have been much less likely with lidar.

Part of a learning process? Undoubtedly, and that's likely true for some of the deaths. It's not clear to me the appropriate lessons have been learned.
