Regardless, evolution is the human species manifest destiny, and we cannot get from here to there without handling it. IMO, it is how the universe works. The transition from one celled life to the intellect of the human species biology, happens all the time, all over the universe, and at this point where biology must transition from animals to AI, going from survival of the species to empathy and cooperation, is the tough part. Probably most civilization don't make it e.g. discovering nuclear bombs would be part of it for them too. And women can make the transition best, which is why we need to empower them.
