In addition to mindless ranting about hate speech, Bondi's tweet conflated threats and incitement. Legally, they are two different things not protected by the first amendment. But they are different. Incitement to violence requires imminence. If a speaker incites a mob to commit an illegal act, and that act is carried out immediately, it is a crime. A true threat is also a crime, even if it's done in the future.

But hate speech and celebrations of violence, as abhorrent and ghoulish as they are, are protected speech. The reactions to Kirk's murder fall into this category. A first year law student could school Bondi on this issue.
