The more I think about what MAI has done the more sense it makes to me. They were dying a slow, or maybe not so slow death as long as the permit problems continue in Mexico, so with this pivot to production in Nevada and before long Arizona they can live on, with any positive developments in Mexico becoming just a bonus.
That said, if you are looking short or even medium term, the prospects are fraught. It is likely there will eventually be a 10:1 rollback, and you know that EQX, based on past history, will monetize the millions of shares they picked up in the deal. I am hoping they sell them as a block rather than dumping them on the market in six months.
It is nice to see both MAI and IVN out of the penalty box, at least for now. And FWZ has exceeded $3 for the first time, which the likes of EDV, OGC, and WGX have blown through my targets by a fair margin.
Randomness is amazing. The total value of my portfolio changed by the princely sim of 6 cents yesterday amidst much volatility in the individual stocks and warrants.
