That's funny. Apparently he went from an adult success to crashing and then in the gutter for a while. Joe Rogan has claimed Rodney sold aluminum siding for years, and I'm unsure what his break was to get back into big time but he took it and ran with it. His greatest success and fame came in the latter stage of his life where most comedians would be winding down. He also owned a comedy club in NYC for a while with his name that probably helped launch a few youngbloods as it were.
