My beta is about 1.5, but my alpha is high. Seeking alpha, is of course the holy grail and many people smarter than I would argue it's impossible.

However, considering that since the low on April 8 till the high on Friday I was up 60% at a relatively little volatility, I think my claim has merits.

Nearly every stock in my portfolio is less than 9 months old and most are less than 6 months. This week 26 of the stocks in my portfolio hit 52 weeks high vs only 1 that hit 52 weeks low (I get rid of a lot of stocks that do).

Also, unlike many people who are very much TA or FA, I am actually fairly balanced between the two. This is relatively rare because most people develop specific style that favors an industry or school.
